Punters miss out again in February 2nd Scoop 6 Win Fund
February 4th, 2013 / leeFebruary 2nd Scoop6 horse racing again saw no winner take the Win Fund, which stood at a nice £138,864. Again all tickets in the running for the Win Fund were wiped out at Race five, the 3:30 at Lingfield Park. With favourite Grey Mirage getting beaten into second place by Emerald Wilderness the remaining nineteen tickets that went into the race were all wiped out, with Grey Mirage having taken most of the backing in the Scoop6 race.
The day started off strongly enough with Eastlake’s victory at Sandown Park in the first of the six races, leaving over 17,000 Win Fund tickets in the running. Around sixteen thousands of those tickets though bombed out of the weekend’s Scoop6 action as Medinas took the tape in the 2:05 at Ffos Las in the second race of the day. There had been such heavy backing for Oscara Dara and Tanerko Emery in the race that the Win Fund got dramatically narrowed. So around 1,000 tickets were left after the second race, and that was trimmed to just over 100 with Carruthers taking a win in race three.
With just nineteen tickets in the hunt for the big prize after race four, they were all eliminated in race five, leaving the Win Fund intact. On the Scoop6 Place Fund there were 56 correct selections with each lucky ticket taking £666.80 winnings. The Scoop6 Bonus Fund stood at just over £280,000 and remained without a winner. The next Scoop6 will run on February 9th.
A £2 stake is all it will take for you to have a crack at the Scoop6 big prizes. The Tote will announce the six races which make up the Scoop6 day on a Saturday and punters can use their horse racing knowledge and experience to try and pick out the six winners of each of the featured races.
